Just in case anyone was wondering, I believe the reason why Marisol's family chose Des Plaines to move to is because that suburb has a 17% Hispanic population.

There is a regular Des Plaines and an "unincorporated" part. I lived in the unincorporated part. It is definitely a middle/working class area, where as many surrounding suburbs like Park Ridge and Glenview are much more upper-middle class.

If I ever get a chance to make an album, maybe I can take some pics around Des Plaines if you guys want.
